Ryan Cortes
Backend / AI Development
Ryan is a Computer Science and Cybersecurity Engineering double major
with a concentration in AI and minors in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, and Mathematics at the University of Delaware.
This is his third hackathon at UD. He focused on backend development,
algorithm design, computer vision training, and architecting the
overall workflow of PyroPlan.
Maxwell Morrison
Frontend / User Interface
Maxwell Morrison is an Electrical Engineering and Mathematics double major
with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Delaware.
This is his third hackathon at UD. He led the development of PyroPlan’s
front-end and user interface, designing a seamless and intuitive website
experience for users. Maxwell is also a member of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN)
and serves as Treasurer of UD’s IEEE chapter.
Shreyas Nair
Frontend Integration / Hosting
Shay is a Cyber Security Engineering major with minors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. This is his second hackathon. He focused on connecting the user interface to backend functionality, ensuring smooth integration, deployment, and reliable hosting for PyroPlan.
Olivia Farro
Strategy / Presentation Lead
Olivia is a Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Sociology triple major at the University of Delaware.
She is also a member of the Delaware National Guard and ROTC. She is interested in law, public service,
and has experience in the criminal justice and emergency management fields.
Olivia leads project strategy and presentation development, helping shape PyroPlan’s vision
and clearly communicate its value. She focuses on refining the problem narrative, ensuring
the solution aligns with real-world needs, and delivering a compelling final pitch.
